olive oil to condition leather collar and leash?what can be used to remove dirt and urine from same?
when at park i drop leash for her to run, i do not remove it ever when we are out. but it gets peed on and starting to smell. it is a black leather w/silver studs, collar and leash set. a larger size as she is still young so it will still fit for some time, and i want it to last…. i did use olive oil to condition it when new and stiff. what can i clean it with????
Use saddle soap, not olive oil. You can buy it at a feed store or hardware store. Get the olive oil off first, it will smell bad after awhile. Follow the directions on the tin of saddle soap.
