Nail Clipper Grooming
What do you think about this type of nail clipper for dogs?

Too hard to use?
I’m looking for a new set of clippers– the current ones I have, have become dull, and the dog appears to dislike clipping now (yikes!!) Looking for a new sharp set, but haven’t used this type before…
Any experience ??
Not looking to use a dremel, and I am aware of where the quick is (and how to find it and avoid clipping it on my dog)
Which is an American Pit Bull Terrier– not an AmStaff– but you were close.
My old–now dull–clippers are the guillotine style.
So this would be better for a large dog?

My dog struggles during clipping sessions– I do not have time to use a dremel or pedipaws, I am looking for a quick snip clippers to get the job done as fast as possible.
Personally, I prefer the side to side style vs. the guillotine.
If you look at the dogs nails, it’s thickest up and down, not side to side, by cutting up and down, you are adding to the discomfort they feel when you do it. By cutting side to side, the nail is thinner, and there is less pressure exerted on the nail.
Personally, I think using guillotine style clippers on a dog, is quite similar to trying to cut human nails side to side. Not very practical.
