Pet Grooming?
I’m having problems with leaving my dog with a pet groomer. I’ve been keeping her trimmed myself but I’m not a professional. She is 5 months old now. I took her to a groomer a few months ago and witnessed a dog that they had left unattended on the table that jumped off, then after it jumped off they yanked it off the floor and roughly slammed it back onto the table. Now I’m having a hard time figuring out where to take her cause I’m scared about leaving her with people I don’t know. Any suggestions?
I have a Shih-tzu, but I don’t let her coat grow long like they do for the show dogs. The place I had the bad experience with is PetSmart.
I used to be a dog groomer and your right some people have no business doing it. Personally I would continue to do your own dog. depends on the type of dog you have, but I get what I call Low maintance dogs. once I can put in the backyard or sink and give them a bath. I’d would tell your next groomer look I want to stay while you do my dog and explain the experience you have had. It there compasionate, they will let you stay. there are places here that you can groom your own dog, maybe look for one of those placed where you live. Let me know what kind of god you have and maybe I can give you some tips.
